21+ only. Information, not betting advice. Records are the services' own claims unless labeled otherwise. We have not joined any affiliate program yet, so every link to a service is a plain link and earns us nothing. If that changes, each paid link will be marked next to the link. Full disclosure.
Is Pregame legit?
Every fact below was checked on Oct 21, 2026 and links to its source. Records are labeled by who reported them.
Our take
Pregame is the service behind the best-documented tout investigation we know of. In 2016 Deadspin analyzed Pregame's own graded archive and reported that all picks sold from 2011 through May 2016 lost money. Pregame and its founder sued, the case settled, and Deadspin stands by its reporting. Pregame sells under handicapper aliases to this day, and we found no independent record for it. Be very skeptical.
This is our opinion, based on the sourced facts below. It is not betting advice.

Refunds, credits and cancelling
- We found no refund or make-good terms on the buy-picks page.
Source: pregame.com, checked Oct 21, 2026 - Deadspin quoted a Pregame customer-service instruction to offer a coupon worth more than the refund:
General rule of thumb is that we don't like to give the money back.

Record claims
- self-reported A listing on Oct 21, 2026 advertised
13-5 (72%) WNBA ALL PLAYS RUN!
for the handicapper Goodfella.
Source: pregame.com, checked Oct 21, 2026 - third-party analysis (2016) Deadspin's 2016 analysis of Pregame's own grading: every pick sold from Jan. 1, 2011 through the end of May 2016 added up to
a loss of nearly $310,000
at $100 per unit, at around 51.67% against the spread.

"Self-reported" means the service graded its own picks. We don't buy picks, so we can't check paid records ourselves.
Is the record independently verified?
None. Pregame grades and archives its own picks. Deadspin reported in 2016 that older results were hard to reach because of a day-by-day calendar with CAPTCHA codes.
Records are easiest to trust when every bet is logged before the game at odds you could actually get, and can't be edited later. Betstamp and Juice Reel work this way (how they work). Monitors paid by the touts they track are weaker; see our guide.
Red flags
- Aliases. Deadspin listed Pregame names such as Fezzik, Goodfella and Spartan. Goodfella was still selling picks on the buy page on Oct 21, 2026.
Source: deadspin.com, checked Oct 21, 2026 - Deadspin reported a handicapper releasing plays at a casino after it had closed for the night, on at least 41 picks. A line you can't actually bet makes a record meaningless.

What's good
- Single picks are cheap compared with long passes, so you can test before you commit. That still costs money.
Source: pregame.com, checked Oct 21, 2026 - Fairness note: Pregame and RJ Bell filed a defamation suit over the Deadspin article in June 2017; it settled, and as part of the settlement Deadspin links to Bell's response. Deadspin says it stands by its reporting.
