About Handicapper Check

Handicapper Check is a small independent site run by one person in Oklahoma. Its goal is simple: before anyone pays for sports picks or a betting tool, they should be able to see what the seller actually publishes, what the refund terms really are, and whether anyone outside the company has checked the record.

How we check

Primary sources first. We read each service's own pricing, package, FAQ and terms pages. Every price, package, refund term and record claim on this site links to the page it came from, with the date we checked it.
Records are labeled. Win/loss records are marked self-reported unless an independent tracker confirms them. A third-party index of free picks is labeled as exactly that.
No guessing. If a price isn't published or a page won't load, we say so or leave it out. We never estimate numbers.
We don't buy picks, and we never post or reveal anyone's paid picks.
Fairness. When a service has disputed reporting about it, we say so. For example, Pregame's lawsuit over Deadspin's 2016 article and its settlement are covered on our Pregame page.

Money

We don't take ads or sponsored reviews. We may join affiliate programs in the future; see the disclosure for exactly how that would work and how it's labeled. As of Oct 21, 2026 we belong to none.

Corrections

Prices and terms change constantly. If something here is wrong or out of date, email carryintires+picks@mail.grokbot.com with the page, the correct information and a link to where it's published. Services are welcome to send corrections too. We fix verified errors quickly and update the checked date.
